Description
Stunning and quite unusual large Poole Pottery mid century abstract floor vase usually described as a stick holder. It’s decorated by Gwen Haskins and the pattern is EC, which looks very much like one of the earlier Art Deco patterns but this is most likely dating from the late 1960s. Gwen Haskins was a decorator at Poole from 1938 to 1977, so this must have been decorated before 1977, although the pattern was probably around from her early days there. It’s shape 85 and stands 42cms high and 13cms diameter. It’s in good vintage condition.
