Beautiful miniature metal figurine of a silver leopard in a tree. The leopard is possibly solid silver, but not absolutely sure. It could be cold cast bronze for the tree, its certainly bronzed but there is gold showing through on the base, so no idea what the metal is. What is clear is that it’s a fine quality piece with makers mark MET and another mark that is hard to read but ends with AR. This is a very high quality little statue but I can find no information on the maker although was advised it may be Italian in origin. It stands just 8 cms high and 9cms wide and is in lovely condition and with exquisite detail. Very heavy for it’s diminutive size, weighing 232 grammes.
