Hampson & Broadhurst Pottery
Not a great deal is know about Hampson & Broadhurst as they were one of thousands of small Staffordshire potteries in operation in the 19th century. They were located at Longton, Staffordshire and were in operation between 1847 and 1853 so there items are quite easy to date. They appear to have specialists in patterns based on oriental porcelain such as Imari, blue and white floral table ware, souvenir ware like this delightful souvenir of Southport and quite a lot of lovely Pearlware.
