Description
Antique Middle Eastern flagon, most probably used for water as it’s quite large. This antique flagon has the most gorgeous patina, somewhere between copper and pewter so this shows it’s age as antique pewter was often alloyed with copper. I believe it to be Middle Eastern because of the inscription on the handle which reads Konyam Sangloglu which is probably Turkic based.
This beautiful flagon is very large at 42cms high and 24cms across approximately at the base. It’s in good condition for its age but does have some dents in the base area and is definitely a rustic piece.
