Needless to say we sell vintage and antique glass and ceramics (pottery and porcelain) and not new products, so they will have wear and tear but we always mention any defects or crazing in the description so that you know what you are buying and in the unlikely event that you receive something that you are not happy with you can return it and get a refund.

We have items from all eras, both antique and vintage and even some more modern pottery and glass that is highly collectable. Our vintage collection begins in the 1920s and 1930s goes on to the mid-century charms of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s with beautiful vintage ceramics from all over Europe and further afield. But some 1980s vintage ceramics and glass will be creeping into the collection.  Particular favourites are Scandinavian art pottery such as Rorstrand, Finland Arabia, Stavangerflint and Figgjo Flint.

Other countries and periods include Art Deco Noritake, mid-century Thomas of Germany, Rosenthal from 1950s onwards and Cmielov from Poland(when we can get it), also mid century glass from  Murano in Italy, Scandinavian makers such as Holmegaard, Riihimaki, Kosta Boda and Orrefors and British glass, namely Whitefriars, Chance, and Dartington plus 1970s Luminarc and French Pyrex and bistroware from the 1970s. As you can see we don’t stick to one country or period and we like to include a good number of international ceramic and glass makers amongst our collection as well as some lovely English antique,mid-century, retro and vintage porcelain and tea ware.
